Yes I've fixed a saggy mattress of mine before with a piece of plywood.
Place the plywood over the slats of your bed frame before placing the mattress back onto the bed frame and then place the mattress down over the plywood and the plywood will provide firm support for the mattress to prevent it from sagging.
