A tiny stye will look like a red and painful lump and will often look like a pimple that appears on the edge of your eyelid and near your eyelashes.

A tiny stye can also form inside of your eyelid and might have a white or yellow center to it and indicate pus.

And the area around the stye may also be swollen and tender.

An external stye is a type of stye which appears on the outer edge of your eyelid, and most typically occurs at the base of an eyelash and it can also be noticeable as a small, red and painful bump.

An internal stye is a type of stye that develops on the inner side of your eyelid, and it can also be less visible from the outside, but it can also cause more pain as well as discomfort.

And styes are also often painful, especially when the stye is touched or when you blink.

To make a stye go away you can apply a warm compress for 15 minutes a day several times a day and even use some lubricating eye drops like STYE eye drops.

The eye drops that you should use for a stye are Stye Sterile Lubricant Eye drops which are available over the counter and are eye drops that are formulated to relieve minor irritation that is caused by styes.

If the stye doesn't go away then a doctor can prescribe some antibiotic eye drops or erythromycin ointment to help fight off the bacterial infection.

An eye stye often lasts from 7 days to 14 days and they often go away on their own without treatment.

Some eye styes may heal and drain within a couple of days, but other eye styes can take 2 weeks to fully disappear.

You can help speed up the process of the eye stye healing by applying warm compresses to the eye styes several times a day for 10 to 15 minutes.

The 2 symptoms of a stye are pain or tenderness in the affected area of the eye and eyelid swelling.

Other common symptoms of a stye are eye discharge, a feeling of something being in the eye, and a red, painful lump on or inside the eyelid.

The red lump on your eyelid when you have a stye will be similar to a boil or pimple.

A stye is also known as hordeolum and is basically just a non harmful and non cancerous bump on the eyelid that often resembles a pimple and is caused by a bacterial infection of the oil glands or hair follicles.

A stye often develops over a couple of days and is often caused by Staphylococcus bacteria.

A stye appears as a red, swollen and tender bump on your eyelid and often with a small yellowish spot in the center.

A stye can also occur on the outer or inner eyelid, near the eyelashes or deeper within the eyelid.

Other symptoms of a stye are redness and swelling, pain and tenderness in the eyelid, pus filled lump or pimple like appearance, possible crusting of the eyelid margins, tearing, burning sensation or a feeling of something in the eye and in some cases blurred vision or light sensitivity.

Styes are often caused by Staphylococcus bacteria, which are common on the skin and the bacteria can enter and infect the oil glands or hair follicles of the eyelid.

And other factors like old makeup, poor hygiene or certain skin conditions can also increase the risk of developing a stye.

Stress can also play a role in a stye developing as stress affects the immune system and can make you more susceptible.

Most styes heal on their own within a week or two with home treatment.

You can use warm compresses applied to the stye for 5 to 10 minutes several times a day, which can help to relieve pain and promote drainage.

You should avoid touching or squeezing the stye as it can spread the infection and make the stye worse.

You can also use some over the counter antibiotic ointments to help the stye heal as well.

But if the stye does not get better or go away at home or if the infection happens to spread you should see a doctor.
