Hiring professionals to come and remove and dispose of the old mobile home can cost as much as $3,000.00 and I should know because I called a professional company to ask them for a quote to remove and dispose of an old mobile home on a lot.
I finally just hired someone else to come help knock it down using their tractor and then scrap the copper, aluminum and then burned the wood from it and scrapped the steel frame after it was cut into pieces.
I paid the other guy $1,000.00 to help knock it down with his tractor and help clean it up and I made a little bit on the scrap but not much.
But I needed to get it removed so maybe try that route or just have the construction company who is coming to build your house maybe have them help knock it down with their tractor that they'll use to dig your foundation and then you can easily clean everything up or pay someone else a little bit of money to haul away the scrap from it if you're not interested in dealing with it yourself.
