It's very natural for puppies to bite and chew on things and even playfully bite people.
However it's best to stop the biting behavior before it gets out of hand and the puppy causes an injury to someone.
When a puppy begins to bite you distract them with a chew toy and have them bite the chew toy instead and if they continue to try to bite you instead of the toy then tell them firmly that they shouldn't bite people and only bite the toy.
Puppies will usually stop the biting once they get over the teething stage but you can train the puppy to not bite as early as 6 to 8 weeks old.
Praise the dog when they stop biting when you tell it too.
