Do banks report check deposits over $10000?

Yes banks do report check or cash deposits over $10,000.00 and they're required by Federal Law to make those reports to the IRS.

But even if you deposit several deposits of large but less than $10,000.00 deposits into the bank then those deposits will also be reported to the IRS and then they may suspect you're doing some sort of fraud and may investigate.

It doesn't mean you're gonna get into trouble for those deposits as you're free to deposit as much money into a bank account as you want too as long as the money was legally gotten.

It just means that the IRS will investigate and likely audit you for income taxes.
