How long does it take for pneumonia to go away after antibiotics?

Most cases of Pneumonia will clear up within 1 to 2 weeks after taking antibiotics for the Pneumonia.

However you may still experience a cough for another week or so but after that you should be fully recovered from the Pneumonia.

More severe cases of Pneumonia can sometimes take 4 weeks or more to recover from but it's rare for pneumonia to last any longer than a month.
