Puberty sometimes changes the texture and hair type and sometimes cutting the hair will temporarily change the hairs texture but other than that there's no real way of changing your hair type or hair texture.
Hair type and Hair texture are given to you through DNA and hardwired into you so unless you were able to change your DNA then you cannot fully change your hair type or hair texture unless you had fake hair put into your head.
