How long do you have to live in a house with a FHA loan?

For an FHA home loan the lender requires you to live in the home as a primary residence for a minimum of 12 months which is one full year.

After the 12 months of occupancy by the person who is on the FHA loan then you can move into another home and get a new FHA loan or rent out the current house with the FHA loan and use that income to pay for the next house.
