Clunking noises and excessive vibration from the front of the vehicle is a common sign of bad ball joints.

Your steering may also venture to the left or right without you doing anything to the steering.

Ball Joints typically last from 70,000 to 150,000 miles before needing replaced and when they do start to fail they need replaced as soon as possible before they do actually fail because a bad or failed ball joint can cause you to lose control of your vehicle causing a deadly wreck.

The cost to replace the Ball Joints will depend on how many ball joints your vehicle has since some vehicles only have 2 ball joints while other vehicles have 4 ball joints.

For 2 ball joints it typically costs around $400.00 to replace both ball joints and around $200.00 for one ball joint.

For all four ball joints it can cost from $800.00 to $1,000.00
