Squashed stomach syndrome is a medical condition in which your stomach is compressed by external factors which can lead to a feeling of early satiety which is feeling full quickly after eating a small amount of food.

Squashed stomach syndrome is often caused by tumors, fluid buildup in the abdomen or an enlarged liver which restricts your stomach's ability to expand normally.

Symptoms of squashed stomach syndrome include nausea, vomiting and discomfort after you eat.

Some people with squashed stomach syndrome may also regurgitate or vomit rapidly after eating meals.

Squashed stomach syndrome can also be associated with liver metastases and or upper gastrointestinal surgery.

Squashed stomach syndrome is also recognized in palliative care and often is the result of hepatomegaly obstructing your gastric outlet.

And obstruction of the upper gastrointestinal tract by lesser sac ascites is also possible but it's rare and only a few cases report it.
