Some ways you can heal a razor burn are by applying some Aloe Vera gel to the razor burn which will also soothe redness.

Applying a cold compress or a wet cloth from the freezer can help relieve burning and itching and help with the razor burn.

You can also help heal razor burn by applying a fragrance free moisturizer and even taking an oatmeal bath or apply some oatmeal mixed with water to the area.

Hydrocortisone cream can also help heal the razor burn.

Apply a low strength hydrocortisone cream once or even twice a day to reduce inflammation and reduce irritation.

Which hazel and glycolic acid can also be used to heal razor burns.

Applying some witch hazel can help with the inflammation and using glycolic acid can remove razor bumps and help heal razor burn and give your skin a smoother appearance.

Razor burn will also heal on it's own within a few days but you can do the above things to help speed up the healing.

You can also prevent razor burn by shaving after showering when your hair is soft, using a lubricant such as gel, soap or shaving cream, shaving in the direction of the hair growth, using a sharp razor blade and exfoliating your skin.

If the razor burn does not heal or it seems to be infected you should see a doctor.

Especially if the rash lasts for weeks or the razor burn lasts for weeks or you have signs of infection  like pus or you have blisters you should see a doctor.
