The Sears Kenmore washing machines are made by Whirlpool Corporation while Sears other line of appliances such as Ovens, Ranges, Cook tops etc are made by Frigidaire.
So Sears Washing Machines are now made by Whirlpool which is still a good manufacture of appliances.
