Having orange skin is mostly harmless and caused by pigments in the blood.
When you eat foods such as carrots or other vegetables in excess that contain the pigment Carotene then it gets into your blood which changes your skin to an orange color.
It's usually nothing to worry about and if you do notice orange skin then you should just cut back on foods containing the pigment Carotene.
