You can over moisturize your lips with any type of lip moisturizer including lip balm or Vaseline.

Using lip balm, lip moisturizer or Vaseline excessively can lead to increased dryness and chapping of the lips.

Too much moisturizer or Vaseline or lip balm can disrupt your lips natural moisture balance.

To apply Vaseline to your lips use your finger to scoop up a small amount of Vaseline and then using your finger apply a thin layer of Vaseline directly onto your lips.

And focus on any dry or chapped areas for maximum lip hydration.

If your lips are very dry, then you can apply a hydrating lip balm first and then seal it in using Vaseline.

To exfoliate your lips with Vaseline mix in a small amount to sugar with the Vaseline and create a paste.

Then gently scrub the sugar and Vaseline paste onto your lips in small circles which will remove dead skin cells from your lips.

Then rinse off the sugar and Vaseline with warm water and apply a moisturizing lip balm.

Sugar and Vaseline is good for the lips because the sugar acts as a gentle exfoliant and removes dead skin cells and the Vaseline helps to moisturize the lips and seal in the moisture.

The sugar and Vaseline helps leave your lips feeling smooth and soft and creates a good natural lip scrub.

You can put Vaseline on your lips overnight to help seal in moisture and keep your lips moist and prevent them from drying out and cracking or becoming chapped.

Regular Vaseline or other petroleum jelly can be used on your lips but they also make Vaseline formulated for lips called Vaseline lip therapy.

The Vaseline that is best for lips is Vaseline lip therapy Vaseline although you can also use regular Vaseline on your lips as well but Vaseline lip therapy is formulated for the lips.

Vaseline Lip Therapy combines Vaseline jelly with a new formula, designed to protect dry and cracked lips.

Vaseline for lips is not the exact same as Vaseline.

However Vaseline for lips does contain Vaseline which is petroleum jelly.

But unlike just Vaseline the Vaseline for lips contains additional ingredients along with the petroleum jelly that is designed for the delicate area of the lips.

Both "Vaseline for lips" and regular Vaseline use petroleum jelly as their main ingredient.

The lip Vaseline also often contains Shea Butter, Cetearyl alcohol and Carnauba or Copernicia Cerifera wax.

Vaseline Lip Therapy combines Vaseline jelly with a new formula, designed to protect dry and cracked lips.

Vaseline has also been used for treating dry skin since 1870 and petroleum jelly is clinically proven to create a skin barrier.

It is also safe to apply a small amount of regular Vaseline or other petroleum jelly to your lips to keep them moisturized and prevent dry and cracked or chapped lips.
