Chinchillas are pretty good pets and they are pretty affectionate and show love towards their owners however Chinchillas don't really like to be held much or cuddled much.
However although rare some chinchillas may like to cuddle but like I said most chinchillas don't like to cuddle but they do show you there love for you as long as you show love back.
