When taking PEPCID you should avoid fried foods, spicy foods, fatty foods, vegetables and some fruits, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate and any other drinks or foods that can cause heartburn.

The downside of taking Pepcid is that Pepcid can cause some possible side effects which include dizziness, headaches, stomach pain and even diarrhea.

Constipation is also another possible side effect of taking Pepcid.

It's better to take PEPCID in the morning before a meal and before eating breakfast, lunch or dinner to treat heartburn.

If you have heartburn or acid reflux or indigestion at night then it's best to take the PEPCID at night before bed.

If you have more regular heartburn or indigestion issues then you can take PEPCID once in the morning and then again at night.

You should take Pepcid Complete before eating to prevent heartburn from drinks and foods that give you indigestion.

You can take Pepcid Complete though either on an empty stomach with food.

To take Pepcid complete chewable take 1 to 2 Pepcid completes and pop them into your mouth and then chew them fully like you would with candy.

Then swallow and follow with a glass of water to flush it down into your stomach.

You should drink a glass of water after taking chewable antacids to help flush the antacid medicine down your throat and into your stomach so it can work properly.

Chew the chewable antacid tablet fully and then drink a glass of water.

You should take chewable antacids whenever the symptoms occur such as heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux etc.

I take my antacid chews in the morning, evening and again at night before bed which is when my acid reflux starts occurring.

You can take as many as 6 chewable antacid tablets in a day or 24 hour period.

You can take 2 to 4 chewable antacid tablets as symptoms occur but don't take more than 6 chewable antacid tablets in 24 hours or you can overdose.

To use chewable antacid tablets you simply take an antacid tablet and put it in your mouth and chew the antacid tablet like you would when you eat candy.

Chew the antacid tablet up and then drink a glass of water to send the antacids down into your stomach.

I usually take 2 antacid tablets at one time which seems to help me better but some people may only need one antacid tablet.

I use the antacid tablets that are flavored like fruits which make them easy and enjoyable to take.

The fruit flavored antacid tablets are so good tasting that I have to remind myself that it's medicine and not candy so I don't take too many of them.

I often take 2 antacid chewable tablets in the morning, 2 more in the afternoon and then I often take 2 more chewable antacid tablets before going to bed.

A common dosage of chewable antacid tablets is 1,500 mg to 3,000 mg as symptoms occur.

Most adults should take no more than 7,500 mg of chewable antacid tablets per day.

Pregnant women have a lower recommended daily maximum of chewable antacid tablets.
