Ganglion cysts are not cancerous just like many other cysts that occur.
Sometimes a Cyst including a Ganglion Cyst will go away on it's own without treatment however you can have surgery to remove the Ganglion Cyst if it's bothering you.
So no Ganglion Cysts are not dangerous and you have no cause for alarm.
