For arthritis pain it's best to take medications that are Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs called NSAIDs which help relieve joint swelling, stiffness, and pain.
These NSAID painkillers are commonly known medications such as ibuprofen, naproxen, Motrin, or Advil.
I personally use Advil which is what helps my arthritis but you may need to try different painkillers to see which exact one works for you.
Excedrin Extra strength also works as a great painkiller for arthritis.
