A diabetic can fast if under a doctors advise to do so.
But a diabetic should never fast to lose weight or any other reason other than a test being done by a doctor.
However the diabetic has to make sure there blood sugar levels are always in check so never let the blood sugar get out of wack when a diabetic as it can send you into a diabetic coma or even cause death.
