You don't have to start repaying the subsidized student loan until 6 months after your graduation of the college.
However if you have the funds and want to start paying on the subsidized student loan while in school you certainly can and it just means that you'll get the student loan paid off much sooner instead of waiting until graduation of college to pay the loan back.
