The death rate of Rinvoq is 0.6 deaths out of 100 person years.

Rinvoq is pretty safe for most people when taken as prescribed but it has the potential to cause serious health issues and death in certain people.

Rinvoq tablets are used for the treatment of severe to moderate active rheumatoid arthritis as well as other conditions like Crohn's disease, active ulcerative colitis, severe to moderate atopic dermatitis, non radiographic axial spondyloarthritis, active ankylosing spondylitis, and severe to moderate active psoriatic arthritis.

Rinvoq is prescribed for the treatment of moderate and severe rheumatoid arthritis when 1 or more medications called tumor necrosis factor blockers have been used but didn't work well or if they could not be tolerated.

Rinvoq may increase a persons risk of cardiovascular problems such as stroke, heart attack, and death caused by a cardiovascular issue.

Increased risk of death is also possible with Rinvoq.
