You can take Tegretol and Gabapentin although taking gabapentin and Tegretol together can increase side effects of the medications which include dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentrating.

People and especially elderly people may also experience impairment in thinking, motor coordination and judgement when taking Tegretol and Gabapentin together.

Tegretol does sometimes make you sleepy and can also cause you to have blurry vision, double vision or even lower your coordination.

You should avoid driving or operating machinery when taking Tegretol and children who take Tegretol should avoid riding bikes, scooters, climbing things etc when taking Tegretol.

The side effect from Tegretol are dry mouth, unsteadiness, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, vomiting and nausea.
