Can you drive a car that's overheating?

You could technically drive the overheating car but it will only go so far until the engine completely overheats and then seizes up your engine.

The engine on a vehicle requires coolant to keep the engine cool and without that coolant keeping the engine cool enough then it will get to hot and warp your engines heads and may eventually seize the engines pistons.

If your car is loosing coolant or having overheating issues it needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

If needed top the radiator off with water if you suddenly leak the coolant as the water will keep the engine cool enough until you can get to a shop to have it fixed.
