3 year old boy wearing diaper and shirt and sandals at a public event.

Here's a picture I found online of a boy of around 3 years old wearing just his diaper, shirt and sandals in public at a public event.

My parents used to let me run around dressed like him in public when I was his age and I sure miss being able to do so.

I used to run around in public like that too at his age and I still do that in my backyard dressed like him.

Today I was in my diaper and shirt and sandals and was running through the sprinklers which felt so good and made me feel like the toddler I used to be and I still feel like a toddler.

I’ve seen kids dressed like that at public events before, especially in warmer areas. My little guy wore a similar outfit last summer—it was just easier for everyone. He had his favorite Ipanema Flip Flops on, loved how comfy they were, and they held up great even after running around all day. No one said anything, and most people didn’t seem to notice or care much.

I see kids like that a lot at parks and events as well and even around my town.

As long as the weather is warm or hot and the child is comfortable wearing just their diaper, shirt and shoes or just a diaper in public, I see nothing wrong with it.

Even my kids would go to the park sometimes in just their diaper, shirt and shoes even when they were 3 years old.

I have a 3 year old boy that is still in diapers and he goes to the park and plays outside like that in our yard as well and even goes into the store wearing just his diaper, shirt and shoes when it's hot out.

If somebody says something to me, It doesn't bother me.

I just prefer that my kids and other kids are comfortable and if they're comfortable in just their diaper, shirt and shoes then that is how they should dress as long as the weather is right for it.
