When an ignition coil is failing and not operating properly it won't send the correct voltage to the vehicles spark plug which can cause engine starting problems, rough idling, engine stalling, poor fuel mileage, loss of engine power, engine sputtering, engine misfiring, engine backfiring and lack of engine power.
The most common symptom of a failing ignition coil besides the above problems is the engine sputtering or misfiring.
