Butane Canisters that haven't been opened will last for up to 7 years but it's best to use the butane in the canister before then for best results.
If the Butane canister has been opened then it won't last as long and will only last for up to 2 years however it may not be as good if left that long so it's best to use the Butane up before then and get fresh ones.
