If you use your Butane Stove on high heat you should get at least 2 hours of cooking time with the 8 oz Butane canister and if you have the Butane Stove on Simmer the Butane canister should last for up to 4 hours of cooking time.
Those little Butane canisters can give you a good amount of cooking time.
