Psychopaths and Sociopaths are similar however the only real difference between the two is how they feel after harming someone.

Sociopaths will usually lack remorse in something they've done even if it did great harm or caused death to someone.

However sociopaths usually have a less severe form of lack of empathy and lack of guilt than Psychopaths.

Psychopathy is characterized by diagnostic features such as superficial charm, high intelligence, poor judgment and failure to learn from experience, pathological egocentricity and incapacity for love, lack of remorse or shame, impulsivity, grandiose sense of self-worth, pathological lying, manipulative behavior.

Children that show a lack of empathy, lack of guilt and have shallow emotions, defined as callous-unemotional traits, are at increased risk of developing psychopathy in adulthood.

These children are more likely to display anti-social behavior, such as bullying and aggression.

Sociopath is a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

Those with ASPD have no regard for others' rights or feelings, lack empathy and remorse for wrongdoings, and have the need to exploit and manipulate others for personal gain.

Nature and nurture play a role in ASPD.

The reasons behind the disorder are not fully understood.
