The regular Arctic Air lasts between 8 hours to 10 hours on a single fill and the XL Arctic Air cooler lasts around 16 hours on a single fill.
Arctic air will not cool a small room by itself unless the temperature in the room is only around 75 F or less then the Arctic air can cool the room enough to be comfortable.
But on a hot day or really hot night the Arctic Air will not cool a room by itself without assistance from air conditioning.
Also if you're in a really humid climate the Arctic Air will not do much good as it uses water to cool.
The Arctic air does really work but unlike what the advertisements claim the Arctic Air cooler is not meant to and will not cool an actual home or room by itself.
The Arctic Air cooler will help lower the temperature in a room along with the assistance of a regular air conditioner.
If the temperature is just slightly warm at night then the Arctic Air cooler can keep the room cool enough to help you sleep.
If you sit next to the Arctic Air cooler then it will work to keep you cool at least some even without air conditioning but it will not cool an actual room and is not a replacement for central air conditioning or window air conditioning.
Arctic Air does shut off automatically and has an auto shut off feature.
The Arctic Air Pure Chill XL will run for around 16 hours per fill and the smaller Arctic Air coolers will run around 8 hours or so.
The Arctic Air cooler can cover up to 45 sq ft and is designed to cool a small room but it won't do so by itself especially on a hot day despite the claims that the advertising claims.
The Arctic Air can help to bring the temperature down in the room when you use a regular air conditioner and it can help cool you down when sitting next to it.
Arctic air does run on batteries which is recharged with a 120 v charger.
You can leave the Arctic air evaporative cooler plugged into a wall outlet or unplug it and take it with you and use it without an outlet as long as the battery stays charged.
When the battery runs low on the Arctic air you simply plug it back in so that it recharges.
To use the Arctic Air evaporative cooler fill it with water and turn it on.
Plug the small end of the USB cable into the port located on the back of the Arctic Air unit and plug Power Adapter into a wall outlet.
You an also connect a power bank to the USB port to take Arctic Air on the go!
Arctic air will not fully cool a room but it will help to keep you cool when you're next to it and will also help assist with cooling a room when your air conditioner won't keep up.
The Arctic Air is not an air conditioner but instead is an evaporative cooler that is designed to cool you and not the actual room.
But if you're using an air conditioner then the Arctic Air cooler can help to bring down the temperature in the room you're in a few more degrees.
