In some locations where retail theft is high other things including baby formula, underwear, panties, undergarments etc are being locked up.
Both Walmart and Target are now locking up underwear and other undergarments like socks in stores to prevent shoplifting.
Even shampoo is being locked up.
It wouldn't surprise me if stores started locking up baby diapers eventually but so far at least here diapers are not locked up.
Even toothpaste and other essentials are being locked up due to retail theft and organized retail theft crimes.
