The amount of canned pumpkin you should give your 10 pound dog is 1 to 4 tablespoons of canned pumpkin per meal.

The canned pumpkin when given to your dog can help relieve constipation and can help with an upset stomach as well.

After feeding your dog canned pumpkin they should poop within 12 to 24 hours.

Pumpkin can be expected to produce a bowel movement and give your dog relief within about 24 hours although it can happen sooner.

Not only will the canned pumpkin treat mild to moderate constipation in your dog but, given regularly, can prevent it from happening in the future.

Too much canned pumpkin can lead to lose bowel movements and create an entirely different issue in your dog so avoid giving the dog too much canned pumpkin.

If your dog eats his or own poop the canned pumpkin can also help stop your dog from eating his or her own poop.

While the canned pumpkin itself tastes good to the dog it does not taste good to the dog when in their poop so the dog will avoid eating their poop when it has canned pumpkin in it.

When feeding your dog canned pumpkin be sure to give them plain canned pumpkin without any spices as the spices in canned pumpkin can be bad for your dog.

You can feed the dog canned pumpkin by itself or mix the canned pumpkin with your dogs food.
