The animals that have 32 brains are leeches, as leeches have 32 brains along with 18 testicles, 10 stomachs, 5 pairs of eyes and 2 hearts as well as 300 teeth in their three jawed mouth.

A leech's body is also internally divided into 32 distinct segments.

And each individual segment houses it's own autonomous cluster of nerve cells that are known as a ganglion and every ganglion functions like a mini brain, which controls the local muscles, senses and reactions of it's specific segment independently.

And while each of the sections has localized control, the ganglia are also all interconnected and the clusters at the very front (near the mouth/eyes) and the very back (near the tail sucker) are also fused together into larger, specialized nerve centers to coordinate over movement and feeding.

leech's possess a highly expandable digestive system that is divided into 10 compartments, which allows them to store blood for several months after a single meal and blood sucking medicinal leech's often have 3 separate jaws that are lined with roughly 100 microscopic, razor sharp teeth, each to leave a signature Y-shaped bite.

Leech's also navigate their aquatic or damp environments using 5 pairs of eyes and they are also hermaphroditic, which means that leech's possess both male and female reproductive organs and carry 9 pairs of testicles.

The animal that has the smartest brain is the chimpanzee.

Chimpanzee's are the smartest non human animal, although chimpanzee's do share 99 percent of human DNA.

Chimpanzee's share 99% of human DNA and they display extraordinary levels of self awareness as well as having exceptional photographic memory and also have the ability to craft and use tools in the wild.

Other animals with the highest intelligence are dolphins, orangutans and bonobos, African Grey Parrots and Crows, Octopuses and elephants.

Elephants have incredible memory as well as emotional depth and complex family structures, which they are renowned for.

Elephants also have self awareness and have also been known to mourn their dead when another elephant dies.

Octopuses are the smartest and most intelligent invertebrates, and possess highly developed nervous systems.

Octopuses are masters of disguise, can navigate complex maxes and even use tools like coconut shells for protection.

Birds including African Grey Parrots and Crows have remarkably high brain to body mass ratios.

And crows are also famous for crafting of tools, solving multi step puzzles and recognizing human faces.

And African grey Parrots have also shown to have the capacity to understand abstract          and even hold meaningful conversations.

Along with chimps or chimpanzees, orangutans and bonobos , which are great apes are also very incredible at problem solving.

Bonobos have been taught to communicate using lexigrams and can also even outperform toddlers on certain cognitive tasks.

And Dolphins are also highly intelligent and are also known for their self awareness, complex communication and even sophisticated hunting strategies.

Dolphins also have large brains and are also among the few animals that are capable of recognizing themselves when looking in a mirror.
