Black mold is very toxic however it's not known to actually cause lung cancer but the black mold can cause respiratory issues and can affect your health badly.

Black mold can cause asthma and the black mold if exposed to the mold long enough can kill you exposure to black mold spores can shut down your organs, incapacitate your immune system, and even damage your brain which can result in death.

So always suit up and use filtered masks and wear gloves when working around black mold.

Symptoms of exposure to black mold that is compromising your health is coughing and sneezing, irritation of the eyes, mucus membranes of the nose and throat, rashes, chronic fatigue and persistent headaches.

You need to see a doctor or get the emergency room if you think or know you've been exposed to black mold and you believe your health has been compromised as a result.
