If you have some clove oil then you can apply some clove oil to your gums where the tooth is in pain.

Take a cotton swab and dip it in some clove out and then apply the clove oil to your gums.

You can also apply an ice pack to the side of your face which can help to ease the toothache.

Sucking on some ice cubes or taking some over the counter pain medicine can also temporarily relieve a toothache.

Another remedy is to freeze a wet tea bag and then place the tea bag near the tooth that is in pain.

If the toothache comes back then you likely have an infection and should see the dentist because toothaches and tooth infections can become serious.

You can also apply some orajel to the affected tooth which will numb the tooth and gum pain.
