Mobile homes are made to be throwaway homes and do not tend to last as long as as site built home.
Mobile or manufactured homes also make it hard to work on any plumbing since it's all buried underneath insulation under the floor.
If I had the choice between a mobile or manufactured home or a site built home I would buy the site built home instead.
Mobile and manufactured homes also depreciate in value while regular site built homes hold their value and can even increase in value over the years.
Mobile homes typically last from 30 to 50 years before getting beyond repair while a properly maintained site built home can last 100 to 200 years or more.
I highly doubt any manufactured or mobile home would last as long as 100 years or more.
