I've never actually counted the times I've lit my Bic lighter before it runs out of fuel but Bic states that you should get at least 3,000 lights from your Bic disposable lighter before needing a new one.
I use my Bic Lighter all the time to light my wood burning stove and it's lasted me 3 seasons so far of lighting the wood stove.
Bic lighters are reliable lighters so you should expect many lights from the Bic disposable lighter.
