My natural gas heating bill runs $150.00 to $200.00 during the winter months.

The colder it gets the higher my natural gas heating bill is but it never goes above $200.00 which is pretty cheap for heating.

My house is 1,500 square feet and well insulated. Some houses that are larger may have a higher gas heating bill.

Also your cost can vary depending on what type of heating fuel you use to heat your house.

Electric heat will be more expensive than natural gas and then propane would be more expensive than natural gas with heating oil being the highest cost to heat a home.

I have natural gas for heat and I heat a 2,000 square foot well insulated home with a natural gas high efficiency furnace and it costs me $250.00 to $300.00 per month.

The $250.00 per month is November to December and then January and February the furnace runs more because of the colder weather which jumps the natural gas heating bill up to $300.00 per month.

That's still cheaper than it would cost me to heat with heating oil, electricity or even firewood.
