How long can an employer hold your check if you quit?

If you quit your job and wasn't fired the employer can hold your paycheck until the next scheduled payday.

Or if you've given the employer gives one pay periods notice they can hold the paycheck for 72 hours.

If you're fired from the job then the employer can also hold the paycheck from you for 72 hours.
