Symptoms of a bad tie rod on a vehicle include.
A squeak noise when turning or hitting bumps.
A loose feeling, like slack in the steering.
Shaking in the steering wheel on bumps.
Bad tie rods can also cause uneven wear on front tires so if your tires are wearing out more frequently and are wearing out unevenly then you either have a bad tie rod or your front wheels are out of alignment which could be caused by the bad tie rod.
If a tie rod does break though you could lose control of your vehicle so get it fixed as soon as possible.
