A Safe alternative to Simparica Trio is Sentinel Spectrum which are monthly chews that protect dogs against heartworm, dog allergies to fleas, whipworms, hookworms, tapeworms and roundworms.

Vets do recommend Simparica Trio and it's also FDA approved and has a positive response with most dogs.

A dog should take Simparica Trio at least within 1 month of the dogs first exposure to mosquitoes and continue taking Simparica Trio until 1 month after the dog has their last seasonal exposure to mosquitoes.

Once a dog takes Simparica Trio it takes around 2.4 hours for the dog to absorb the Simparica Trio.

Simparica is better than Nexgard as Simparica kills an additional tick species and is also relatively faster in eliminating ticks and fleas although both are good and Nexgard is cheaper than Simparica.

Both Nexgard and Simparica are extremely good and effective flea and tick treatment and they do not have a major difference between them.

However Simparica does kill an additional tick species and is also relatively faster in eliminating ticks and fleas.

The side effects of Simparica Trio are possible tremors, unsteadiness and or seizures as well as diarrhea and vomiting.

Simparica Trio for dogs treats dogs with hookworm and roundworm infections in the gut and treats flea and tick infestations.

Simparica Trio is also used to prevent heartworm and lungworm disease in dogs which is caused by blood worms which infect the dogs heart and blood vessels which supply the lungs.

Simparica Trio in dogs may cause neurologic signs such as tremors, unsteadiness and/or seizures in dogs with or without a history of neurologic disorders.

Also simparica trio has not been evaluated in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs.

A Veterinarian will need to write a prescription for Simparica Trio.

Simparica Trio has been demonstrated safe for dogs as young as eight weeks old and weighing as little as 2.8 lbs.

The generic active ingredient for Simparica is Sarolaner.

A cheaper alternative to Simparica Trio is NexGard SPECTRA.

Simparica Trio can be given to your dog with or without food.

Simparica Trio tablets are palatable and readily consumed by the majority of dogs when offered.

If the Simparica Trio tablet is not taken up voluntarily by the dog it can also be given with food or directly into the mouth.

The tablets should not be divided.
