You should not use Vaseline on acne prone or oily skin or if you are prone to clogged pores.

Dermatologists also recommend the use of Vaseline and other petroleum jelly to relieve dry skin which includes your eyelids and lips.

Petroleum Jelly and Vaseline have multiple skin care uses for the entire family and can even be used on babies for diaper rash.

It is OK to use Vaseline or other petroleum jelly as a daily moisturizer as Vaseline and petroleum jelly works at the skins surface to form a protective barrier and prevent water from leaving your skin to keep it moist.

Applying Vaseline or other petroleum jelly to your skin daily can help to keep your skin moisturized and prevent dry and cracked skin.

The difference between petroleum Jelly and Vaseline is in the name.

Vaseline is simply just petroleum jelly and is a brand name but Vaseline tends to be more pure than other petroleum jelly brands.

However if you simply need some petroleum jelly and can't afford the Vaseline or want to save money the regular cheaper brands of petroleum jelly will work just as good as Vaseline.

I always used to by the Vaseline but found that the cheaper petroleum jelly works just as good and so now I always buy the cheaper Walmart brands of petroleum jelly and never have any issues with it.

I find no difference in performance of the cheaper petroleum jelly over the Vaseline.
