The reason you get pimples around your nose is because you have larger pores on your nose and due to excess oil production, sun exposure, friction, hormonal changes and certain medications.

The most common cause of pimples around your nose are excess oil production and hormonal changes.

Hormonal changes can occur due to menstruation, puberty, pregnancy, birth control pills and stress.

The sebaceous glands in your nose also produce sebum which is an only substance which moisturizes your skin.

When the glands produce too much sebum it can lead to pimples and acne.

Also wearing things that press against your face for a long time can push dirt and bacteria in your pores and lead to pimples.

Certain medications sch as phenytoin, estrogen, testosterone or corticosteroids can lead to pimples and acne as well.
