It can be pretty hard and pretty challenging to become a lobbyist although for some people it's easier.

Becoming a lobbyist does not require any licensing or certification like some jobs, although many lobbyists do have a college degree.

As a lobbyist having degrees in economics, public relations, communications, law, journalism and political science can be helpful to you as a lobbyist.

Some lobbyists also have postgraduate qualifications in public relations, government and or politics.

However you do need a bachelor's degree to become a lobbyist which takes at least 4 years to earn.

Lobbyists are paid pretty well and have an average annual salary of $116,000.00 a year.

Political lobbyists in the United States command wages that are well above the average wages.

The average hourly pay for a Political Lobbyist can vary from state to state although in California for example the hourly pay for a Lobbyist is on average of $19.13 an hour.
