People who have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity are more prone to getting Keratosis Pilaris but as of now doctors can't say whether gluten sensitivity is a direct cause of Keratosis Pilaris or whether it's not related at all.

keratosis pilaris flare-ups happen if the person is consuming gluten and has ongoing inflammation or malabsorption problems.
