Vinegar will get rid of dead animal smell and other smells.

Vinegar contains acetic acid which neutralizes the odors instead of just masking them.

Vinegar can also help absorb odors including the odor of the dead animal.

You can pour some undiluted vinegar on the area if outdoors where the dead animal was to help eliminate the dead animal smell.

Or if an animal died inside your house, garage etc you can mix equal parts of vinegar and water in a spray bottle and shake it up.

Then spray the vinegar and water mixture to the area where the dead animal was and let it sit for awhile.

Then wipe it clean or mop the area with some soap and water.

Baking soda can also be applied to the area where the dead animal was and then you can mop it up after a day or so.

If the animal died on the floor inside a building or house and the smell is lingering you can sprinkle the baking soda on the floor and allow it to sit overnight.

The baking soda will absorb the dead smell of the animal.

Mopping or cleaning the area with bleach can also help get rid of the dead animal smell.

You can also set out some coffee grounds or baking soda in a bowl to absorb the dead animal smell and other smells.
