To clean burnt on grease start by sprinkling baking soda on then burnt on grease and then pour some vinegar over the baking soda and grease and then allow it to sit for a minute or two.
Then scrub the burnt on grease with a brush or sponge and then rinse thoroughly.
If the burnt on grease persist you may need to scrub the burnt on grease some more with some more baking today and paste.
If burnt on grease is in a pan you can again sprinkle some baking soda into the pan and some vinegar and then boil the baking soda and vinegar.
Then after it cools slightly you can try scrubbing the burnt on grease again.
You an also soak the pots and pans with burnt on grease in hot and soapy water for a couple of hours or even overnight to help the burnt on grease come off better.
Using a scrubbing pad or those soap based scrubbing pads also known as SOS pads can also help with cleaning the burnt on grease and cleaning stubborn stains and grime.
If your pan is made of material safe for a wire brush you can also use a wire brush to scrub away the burnt on grease that way as well.
Just make sure your pan is safe for use with a wire brush.
In most cases, baking soda and vinegar when allowed to sit on the burnt on grease will soften the burnt on grease and help it come off easier.
You can also remove burnt on grease by cutting a lemon in half and sprinkle some salt on the cut side of the lemon and scrub it onto the stained areas of the tray.
Bar Keepers Friend is also a great cleanser that is effective in removing grease, rust stains, grime and burnt on food.
If the burnt on grease is on your stove or oven you can use oven cleaner in the oven or making a paste from baking soda and vinegar to clean the stove or oven.
