Kratom does affect the nervous system as well as the mind and can also cause drowsiness, dizziness, delusions and hallucinations.

Kratom can and sometimes does cause brain swelling and posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome.

Kratom can cause AFIB as well as ventricular arrhythmia, ventricular tachycardia and fibrillation which can result in cardiopulmonary arrest.

Kratom can cause hot flashes in some people as well as loss of libido, heartburn, dehydration, nausea, seizures, dry mouth, loss of appetite, constipation,itching and skin rashes.

People who take or use kratom have also experienced weight loss, anorexia, hepatotoxicity, seizures, insomnia and hallucinations.

The side effects from taking kratom include aggression, nausea, trouble breathing, hallucinations and even death.
