You can stop sterilizing bottles for your baby when they are 12 months of age.

You should continue to sterilize your baby's bottles as well as pacifiers, teats etc and any feeding equipment or anything they put in their mouths until 12 months of age.

Sterilizing feeding equipment including bottles helps to protect your baby against infections as well as diarrhea and vomiting.

Once your baby is six months old, you can give them a drink of water straight from the faucet.

There's no need to boil the water first.

You can also use a water filter if you want, but make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions.

If babies' bottles are not sterilized, they may become sick.

The baby might develop a bacterial infection, which can lead to diarrhea, vomiting, and fever.

In severe cases, it can even lead to death.

So it's very important to sterilize babies' bottles before using them.
