Yes coconut oil does remove plaque build up from your teeth and also prevents gum disease and tooth decay as well.

You can brush your teeth using coconut oil and/or also do oil pulling with the coconut oil.

To oil pull you take a tablespoon of coconut oil and put it in your mouth and then swish the coconut oil around your mouth and pull the coconut oil through your teeth several times for 15 minutes.

Then spit the coconut oil out and rinse your mouth out with some water or even some mouth wash.

You should also immediately brush your teeth after oil pulling to remove the rest of the bacteria as well as the coconut oil.

I oil pull with coconut oil once per week but brush my teeth every few days with coconut oil.

I still brush my teeth everyday with toothpaste but every other day I will use coconut oil to brush my teeth with.
