Ethan Crumbley got into a fight with another inmate at Thumb Correctional Facility.

The Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley got into a fight with another teenage prisoner at the Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer earlier this week and now could face sanctions, according to the Michigan Department of Corrections.

The fight between Ethan Crumbley, 17, and another 17-year-old happened Tuesday in a unit where incarcerated youths under the age of 18 are housed, MDOC spokesman Kyle Kaminski said.

“There were no weapons and no serious injuries," Kaminski said. "Staff responded and broke it up. And so both prisoners have been issued misconducts" with any sanctions to be determined.

I've wondered if he would get into a fight or something in prison.

Ethan Crumbley really has nothing to lose and nothing better to do so it's worth it for him to fight in prison even if it does get him into more trouble.

He's already in prison for life so they really can't punish him any more other than putting him into solitary.

It doesn’t say who started the fight(s).

And O’m by no means defending Ethan Crumbley, but it IS possible he is being targeted by kids who want the notoriety of beating up or even taking out a school shooter.

The same thing happened to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, so it could certainly happen here.

Or maybe Ethan Crumbley has realized he will never get out of prison after he’s transferred to adult prison next month after his 18th birthday and either DGAF what happens, or may be trying for solitary?

It all depends on where his head is at, at this point.

When Ethan Crumbley turns 18 next month he will be moved out of the Youth portion and be with the adults where he will likely get into more fights and really have to watch his back.

Ethan Crumbley is never getting out of prison so he will have to learn to fight if he wants to stay alive in prison.

However if I were in prison for life I would hope that someone would kill me so I would not have to be in a boring prison for the rest of my life.
